Elbow Injection

‍‍Steroid injection of the ‍﻿ ‍﻿ epicondyle:
‍‍- Consent: obtained after discussion on the benefits and risks, including pain, bleeding, infection, tendon tear, skin discoloration
‍‍- Preparation: ‍﻿﻿
‍‍- Medication: ‍﻿  mg/cc  cc and 1% lidocaine without epi  cc
‍‍- Procedure: injection in the area of maximum pain at the epicondyle
‍‍- Complications: , procedure ﻿
‍‍- Instructions: rest for 48 hours, ice, analgesics, return if significant pain, redness, swelling, or fever
