Irrigation: abscess cavity irrigated with saline

Dressing: sterile dressing applied

Instructions: post-procedure care and dressing changes explained

Pain management: 

Follow-up: return for wound check and dressing change   days

Return precautions: advised to return if signs of infection develop, such as fever, redness, swelling, or if pain worsens
