DDx: stenosing tenosynovitis, de Quervain's tenosynovitis, ganglion cyst, Dupuytren's contracture, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, flexor tendon injury, repetitive strain injury, scar tissue formation
PLAN:
Investigations:
- X-ray of the hand
- Ultrasound of the hand
Treatments:
- Rest and activity modification
- Splinting of the affected finger
- Heat or ice application

- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Surgery if conservative treatment fails
