Onset was ‍gradualsudden, ‍spontaneoustriggered by ‍



Symptoms include:

‍persistent redness

‍flushing and blushing

‍burning or stinging sensation

‍pimples and pustules

‍visible blood vessels

‍dry, itchy eyes

‍swollen, bulbous nose

‍thickening skin



Worsening factors: ‍none

Alleviating factors: ‍none, ‍effectiveineffective



Contributing factors:

‍skin irritants

‍harsh facial products

no history of: ‍acne, ‍eczema, ‍psoriasis

no family history of: ‍rosacea





EXAM:

Skin: ‍rashlesions on ‍





ASSESSMENT:

‍Rosacea ‍likelysuspectedpossible

DDx: rosacea, acne vulgaris, seborrheic dermatitis, periorificial dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, drug-induced erythema, lupus erythematosus, carcinoid syndrome, mastocytosis, polycythemia vera, cutaneous lymphoma





PLAN:

Investigations:

- Skin biopsy

Treatments:

- ‍Topical antibiotics

- ‍Topical steroids

- ‍Topical retinoids

- ‍Oral antibiotics

- ‍Emollients

- ‍Eye treatments

- Avoidance of triggers (e.g. heat, sun exposure, alcohol, spicy foods, stress)

- Education on proper skin care

- Makeup and camouflage techniques

Further care:

- Referral to dermatologist

- Follow-up in ‍ ‍weeksmonths

- Return if rash worsens, if new symptoms develop, or if condition does not improve
