DDx: peritonsillar abscess, tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis, retropharyngeal abscess, parapharyngeal abscess, epiglottitis, dental abscess, infectious mononucleosis, lymphadenitis, angioedema, ludwig's angina, deep neck space infection, airway obstruction, herpangina, diphtheria, foreign body in the throat, neoplasm of the oropharynx

Treatments:

- Dexamenthasone 10mg po once

- Incision and drainage
